In March our newest member joined our team. Dhirendra Mishra has a background in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai and has lived and worked in Mumbai, India. Before joining the Technical University Munich, he worked at NMIMS University as an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering where he initiated, developed and led a 3D Printing facility. He has collaborated with pharmacists and medical professionals in interdisciplinary research projects utilising the benefits of additive manufacturing in drug delivery systems and medical device innovation. At TUM he is involved in a DAAD program hosted by the TUM SEED Center. The topic of his project is frugal innovations for sustainable energies. His research focus would be at the crossroads of frugal innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurship where additive manufacturing would be an enabling technology.
