Excellent study program
"Students are the problem solvers of the future. We equip them with the tools they need to find creative solutions to the materials engineering challenges of tomorrow."
We want to transfer our fascination for materials and additive process technology to our students. From the basic lecture in the bachelor's program to the specialized master's course, we use modern didactic approaches for this purpose and enrich the knowledge transfer with diverse examples from practice as well as the latest findings from our and worldwide research. In addition to teaching in lecture halls and laboratories, we offer a direct insight into the exciting field of materials engineering through customized theses at the Chair or in cooperation with our industrial partners. This way, our students are optimally prepared for their future careers in industry or science.
