Processing models for analysing the 3D vibration response of structures using terrestrial laser scanners (PROVILAS)
Project Partners:
Technical University of Munich, Chair of Non-Destructive Testing.
Technical University of Munich, Chair of Engineering Geodesy
Technische Universität Wien
Project Description:
The main goal of the project is to enable the space-continuous and contactless capturing of the vibration response of structures using 3D terrestrial laser scanning. The TUM-Chair of Non-destructive Testing is actively collaborating in the PROVILAS project, particularly for the real-world testing and evaluation of the investigated approach in civil engineering applications. This will be done through the finite element modelling of a series of structures, aimed at the validation of the proposed method.
Start: 01.02.2025
Duration: 3 years
Funding: Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG)
TUM Participants: Chair of Non-Destructive Testing: Prof. Christian U. Grosse, Ana Eugenia Menendez Orellana
