DISCO2030 GA Meeting in Finland

On the 6th and 7th of June 2024, the consortium of the EU-funded DISCO2030 project convened for their general assembly meeting hosted by our project partner Wärtsilä. The Finnish company Wärtsilä is situated on a peninsula in Vaasa close to the sea and surrounded by forest. Impressed by the huge factory hall where ship engines are assembled and by the modern open workspaces, we discussed the progress of the project and planned upcoming tests and designs, as well as the organization of the first periodic report. Additionally, our newest project partner, InPhoTech, was introduced and welcomed to the consortium. We would like to thank Francesco Trevisan and Wärtsilä for hosting this pleasant and productive meeting.
